Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United monitor Bayern Munich talent
Lennart Karl, a talent from Bayern Munich, is attracting interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United as his first-team appearances dwindle amid off-field behavior concerns. This situation could open the door to developments regarding his future as 2027 approaches.
TEAMtalk reports that intermediaries have started reaching out to various parties regarding the 18-year-old player, while interested clubs are monitoring his situation, despite no indications of an imminent departure.
Lennart Karl has only featured in two Bundesliga matches and one UEFA Champions League game this season. His behaviour off the pitch has also caused discontent within the club, prompting Uli Hoeneß, the honorary president of Bayern Munich, to publicly warn him.
Uli Hoeneß told the newspaper "Bild": "I intend to have a serious conversation with him; he is far from being a superstar," adding that the young player needs to show humility and that comparing him to Michael Olise does not benefit him.
Lennart Karl has turned down interest from Arsenal and Liverpool earlier this year, signing a new contract with Bayern Munich until 2029. The same source indicated that FC Barcelona and Real Madrid continue to be interested in him, having attempted to sign him when he was ten years old.
The player had an impressive season last year, scoring 9 goals and providing 7 assists in 34 matches. He also joined the senior German national team, and Bayern hope that Karl can overcome his current difficulties and gain more regular playing opportunities with the team.
