Eberechi Eze has made his position clear regarding a departure from Arsenal, confirming his wish to continue with the team despite a decrease in his role and the challenges of getting regular playing opportunities, according to Football Insider.

Journalist Pete O'Rourke has clarified that Eberechi Eze is happy at Arsenal and does not consider his lack of appearances a reason to leave the club, despite internal concerns about his level under Mikel Arteta.

The player has started only once in Arsenal's first seven Premier League matches this season, and he was substituted at half-time during the match against Nottingham Forest. In contrast, his performance improved in the UEFA Champions League, as he scored a goal against Bayern Munich after coming on as a substitute for the injured Bukayo Saka.

Eberechi Eze faces strong competition for the playmaker position as Martin Ødegaard returns to his impressive form. Arsenal see Christos Tzolis as a better option on the left wing, having tried to sign Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior during the summer.

Eberechi Eze could see more playing opportunities in the coming period following Bukayo Saka's injury, which is expected to sideline him for around six weeks. There is a possibility that Arteta will rely on Noni Madueke on the right wing and make changes to his limited attacking options.
