Sudden health issue strikes Bayern Munich coach and raises concerns

Vincent Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, suffered a sudden health issue after a training session, before being transported to the hospital by ambulance, amid concerns about his health condition.

German network "Sky Sport" reported, based on information it obtained, that the condition of the 40-year-old Belgian coach is stable after he was taken to the hospital following a fall during Bayern Munich training. The network noted that a rescue helicopter landed at the training facility before he was transported.

Vincent Kompany had suffered from a viral infection last week, which affected his ability to perform his duties normally, forcing him to miss several appointments and training sessions in recent days.

Despite his health condition, Bayern Munich's coach watched his team's 6-1 victory over Leipzig from the sidelines but refrained from conducting press interviews. He also missed training sessions on Monday and Tuesday.

Before the UEFA Champions League clash between Bayern Munich and Arsenal, which ended in a 2-2 draw, his assistant Aaron Danks took his place at the press conference, before Kompany returned to attend the match.
