Arsenal lead race to sign Nicolò Tresoldi from Club Brugge
Arsenal lead the list of clubs interested in signing Nicolò Tresoldi, the Club Brugge forward, amid competition from Tottenham and several other European clubs, according to TEAMtalk, citing the Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
Arsenal have been monitoring the German striker for six months, after he scored 32 goals in 69 matches with Club Brugge since his move from Hannover in 2025. Atlético and FC Barcelona are among the clubs showing interest in signing him, alongside Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham.
Arsenal are looking to bolster their attack despite signing Viktor Gyökeres in the summer of 2025, as the player has faced criticism for his overall performance. Meanwhile, manager Mikel Arteta is relying on Kai Havertz in the striker position this season.
In a related context, Adrian Durham, a presenter on TalkSport, has urged Arsenal to try to sign Erling Haaland from Manchester City in January, highlighting his scoring abilities, and criticized Arteta for sticking with Jökull.
