Giuliano Simeone on Tottenham's radar

Tottenham are keen on signing Argentine Giuliano Simeone, forward for Atlético, as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffside.

The source mentioned that Tottenham have identified Giuliano Simeone, who is 23 years old, as a potential target to bolster their lineup, thanks to his ability to play in attacking positions on the flanks, which gives De Zerbi more tactical options.

Completing the deal will not be easy, as Atlético are keen to retain the player's services. The platform "Transfermarkt" estimates his market value at around €40 million, while there is a release clause in his contract worth €500 million.

Tottenham are not the only club interested in the player, as Manchester City and Manchester United have also explored the terms of a potential deal to sign him.

Giuliano Simeone has renewed his contract with Atlético in January 2026, extending his stay with the team until June 2030. He is believed to feel comfortable working under his father Diego Simeone, which makes it more difficult for him to leave the Spanish club.

Tottenham are expected to continue monitoring the player's development over the coming months before deciding whether to make a formal offer, while they may have to look for alternative targets if their attempts falter due to Atlético's insistence on keeping their Argentine striker.
