Giochiris plans to leave Arsenal in January

Victor Gyökeres is preparing to push for a departure from Arsenal during the upcoming winter transfer window, due to his limited first-team appearances in the Premier League and the club's ongoing interest in signing Julián Alvarez, according to TEAMtalk.

Giorgos Gioukeris has not started any Premier League match this season, despite scoring 21 goals last season, including 14 in the competition, helping Arsenal to clinch the title.

The same source clarified that intermediaries have begun studying the options available to the player, amid interest from clubs in England, Italy, Germany, and Spain, led by Atlético Madrid, who discussed the possibility of signing him during the summer.

Arsenal's ongoing interest in Julián Alvarez is an additional concern for Gyökeres, especially with Arteta currently preferring Kai Havertz. In contrast, the London club may agree to the departure of the Swedish striker as part of their plans to strengthen the attack, making a separation in January a real possibility.
