Milan plans to sign Club Brugge striker in January
AC Milan are monitoring striker Nicolò Tresoldi, a player for Club Brugge, ahead of a potential move during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to "La Gazzetta dello Sport".
According to the report, Jerry Cardinale, owner of RedBird, has personally requested AC Milan officials to follow player developments and communicate with his surroundings, in preparation for making an official move either in the upcoming January transfer window or during the summer transfer market.
Milan's interest in Nicolò Tresoldi comes in light of the young forward's outstanding levels, having caught the eye after scoring three goals against Inter in the UEFA Champions League, solidifying his position among the top emerging attacking talents.
The report indicated that the competition for the player will not be easy, especially since AS Roma tried to sign him for €35 million last August, but Club Brugge rejected the offer. The current value of the striker is estimated to be over €50 million, with interest from other clubs, including Inter.
