Sofiane Boufal makes first appearance in Al-Ittihad shirt

Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal has started his journey with his new club Al-Ittihad, having participated in his first training session with the team since his transfer during the last summer transfer window.

Sofiane Boufal took part in his first training session with Ittihad on Thursday as he prepares to start his new experience in the Libyan league, following the completion of his transfer to the club.

The training session saw the presence of his compatriot Nofal Zarrouhni, a former player of Raja CA, as the Moroccan duo came together within the ranks of the Libyan team.

Al-Ittihad announced last Monday that they have officially signed Sofiane Boufal on a free transfer, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen their squad in preparation for the new football season.

Boufal has had a professional career that has spanned several European and Arab clubs, most notably Lille, Southampton, Celta Vigo, Al Rayyan, Union Saint-Gilloise, and Le Havre.

Sofiane Boufal has been one of Morocco's standout players in recent years, and he was part of the squad that achieved a historic feat by reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
