Libyan Al-Ittihad announces signing of Moroccan Sofiane Boufal

Libyan club Al-Ittihad have officially signed Moroccan international Sofiane Boufal, making him a player for the team in the upcoming phase.

The Libyan club published a welcoming message for Boufal, confirming that the player has chosen to wear the Al-Ittihad shirt with pride, describing him as a big star who wears the 'shirt of history'.

Sofiane Boufal has arrived in the Libyan capital Tripoli in recent days, in preparation for his transfer to Al-Ittihad, after becoming a free agent following his departure from French club Le Havre this summer.

The Al-Ittihad experience marks a new station in Sofiane Boufal's career, having previously played for Lille, Southampton, Celta Vigo, Al-Rayyan, and Le Havre. He is also considered one of the standout players for the Moroccan national team in recent years.
