Newcastle Secures Amar Dedic for €35 Million
Newcastle United has reached an agreement with Benfica to sign Bosnian full-back Amar Dedic, in a deal valued at approximately €35 million, according to Fabrizio Romano, who stated, "Here We Go."
Negotiations have seen significant progress in recent days, as Didic has shown his desire to move to Newcastle, while Benfica is holding firm on a fee of around €35 million to part with his services.
Diditsch's transfer to Newcastle marks a return to working with German coach Matthias Jaissle, who previously managed the player during his time at Red Bull Salzburg. This connection has made the 23-year-old full-back one of the new coach's preferred targets.
This transfer marks the first major signing for Newcastle under Islas, as the team acquires a defender capable of playing in multiple defensive positions. The agreement also includes Benfica retaining a percentage of any future sale value for the player.
