Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle monitor RC Lens defender

Ismaëlo Ganiou, the RC Lens defender, is attracting interest from several top European clubs following his recent performances, with comparisons being made to his compatriot Raphaël Varane.

According to "TEAMtalk", Tottenham, Newcastle, Fulham, and Brentford have been keeping an eye on the player throughout 2026, alongside Chelsea, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as several other European clubs, most notably Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

Ismaëlo Ganiou has secured his place in the first team of RC Lens for the last season, renewing his contract for four seasons after impressing with his speed, physical strength, and defensive abilities.

On the international stage, Ismaëlo Ganiou has previously represented Burkina Faso before joining the France U21 team last March. The same source indicated that Zinedine Zidane considers him among the potential options for the senior French national team.
