Benfica Sets €35 Million Price for Ammar Didic to Newcastle

Newcastle United continues its efforts to secure the signing of Bosnian full-back Amar Dedic, currently at Benfica, during this summer transfer window, as negotiations between the two clubs regarding the transfer fee are ongoing.

According to reports, Benfica is demanding €35 million to part ways with Deditch, even though the player's contract includes a release clause worth €50 million. Newcastle is attempting to reach an agreement for a fee lower than the release clause.

Reports indicate that Newcastle has begun negotiations with Benfica, while Dedic has expressed a desire to move to St. James' Park. The deal has also received the approval of coach Matthias Jaissle, who previously worked with the player during their time at Salzburg.

Didic is 23 years old and is known for his ability to play as a right-back, as well as his capability to occupy the left side, making him a suitable option to bolster Newcastle's defensive options.

Negotiations between the two parties are ongoing, with Benfica holding firm on their financial valuation of €35 million, while Newcastle is seeking to reduce the transfer fee and reach a final agreement as soon as possible.
