Manchester United Targets Luis Skelly

Manchester United is planning to move for Miles Lewis-Skelly, the young Arsenal player, during the summer transfer window, amid the difficulties the club faces in strengthening the left-back position.

The Sun reports that Manchester United is ready to make a bid for Luis Skelly after the player was offered to the English club alongside Chelsea, with Arsenal open to considering offers around £60 million.

Luis Skelly is 19 years old and is among Manchester United's options to strengthen the left flank, especially with the club's difficulties in securing a deal for Lewis Hall from Newcastle. However, the club believes that the price Arsenal is asking is too high.

The newspaper reported that Manchester United was treating £45 million as the expected value for the deal, but informed sources indicated that Arsenal is holding out for a fee closer to £60 million.

In this context, Manchester United tops the list of clubs vying to sign Luis Skelly, while Chelsea, Newcastle, and Liverpool are among the other prominent clubs interested in the player.
