Spanish defender Jacobo Ramón has entered the growing interest of Premier League clubs after delivering impressive performances with Como, making him one of the standout names likely to influence the upcoming summer transfer market, coinciding with his opportunity to join the Spain national team for the first time.

A report has revealed that Manchester United are the most determined club to monitor the situation of the 21-year-old defender, amid interest from Chelsea and Liverpool in securing his services. Despite these moves, the player is not considering a departure during the winter transfer window, as he prefers to continue his journey with Como until the end of the season at least.

Real Madrid holds significant leverage regarding their former player, having retained 50% of his rights when he moved to Como for €2.5 million. Additionally, the agreement includes a clause that allows the royal club to re-sign the player for just €10 million, a fee that seems low compared to his current market value estimated at around €45 million.

Real Madrid officials are closely monitoring the development of Jacobo Ramón with great satisfaction, as he has become one of the names considered to strengthen the first team in the future. The club does not intend to make a final decision regarding his return at this time, preferring to wait until the outlines of the squad for the 2027-2028 season become clearer, especially since Antonio Rüdiger's contract is set to expire, while the contracts of Éder Militão, Dean Huijsen, Konaté, and Raúl Asencio continue.

Jacobo Ramón is considered the leading candidate to replace Rüdiger should he leave, but this matter is still on hold within the corridors of Real Madrid, as the management is convinced of the young defender's potential and his ability to develop in the upcoming period.

On the performance front, Spanish defender Dean Huijsen is enjoying a standout period under Cesc Fàbregas at Como, having become the player with the most minutes on the team with a total of 1201 minutes. This is thanks to his abilities in build-up play, the accuracy of his defensive decisions, and his quick reading of opponents' movements, as well as his superiority in aerial duels due to his height of 1.96 meters.

Jacobo Ramón scored three goals and provided two assists for Como this season, and he netted two goals for Spain's U21 team during the last international break. His call-up to the senior national team comes as part of a 27-man squad, marking a new step in his international career, as he joins a group of defenders that includes Éder Militão, Pau Cubarsí, and Dean Huijsen.
