Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano announced that Newcastle United has reached a final agreement with Brentford to sign striker Yuan Weisa during the current transfer window.
According to Romano's report on his X platform account, the deal will cost Newcastle around £55 million, including add-ons, and Brentford has accepted the official offer made by Newcastle's management.
Weisa is set to undergo medical examinations later today, paving the way for the official announcement of the deal on the last day of the transfer window.
This move comes after the departure of Swedish striker Alexander Isak to Liverpool, as coach Eddie Howe continues to strengthen the attack by signing Weisa in addition to Nick Woltmaid.
