FC Barcelona officially announced through its account on the social media platform “X” the renewal of the contract of team star Fermin Lopez, after his brilliance during the recent period.
It was Lopez has a contract with the Catalan club, which expires during the summer transfer period of 2027, but due to his brilliance with his national team and the club, the Barcelona management decided to keep the player and renew his contract.
And the club succeeded. Barcelona has decided to renew the player’s contract so that he will remain with the team until 2029, and has also set a release clause worth 500 million euros, in order to close the doors for all teams to negotiate with Lopez.
The young player played 37 matches with Barcelona in the 2023/2024 season, in all competitions, and scored 8 goals.
