Officially.. Atletico Madrid Rejects Astronomical Offer from Real Madrid for Alvarez

Real Madrid issued an official statement announcing its offer worth 150 million euros to Atletico Madrid to sign Argentine striker Julian Alvarez during the current summer transfer window.

The royal club clarified that the offer was made following a board meeting held today, in a move that confirms Real Madrid's desire to sign the Argentine star and strengthen the team's lineup in preparation for the upcoming season.

The club said: "After reviewing and evaluating the offer, Atletico Madrid thanked Real Madrid for this offer, which came within the framework of the good relationship between the two clubs, but Atletico Madrid rejected the offer and demanded the value of the release clause in the player's contract (500 million euros)."

This development comes after days of speculation about the identity of the player whom Real Madrid's president Florentino Perez promised to make a historic offer for worth 150 million euros, revealing that the target is Julian Alvarez, one of the prominent stars of Atletico Madrid and the Argentine national team.

It is noted that the Argentine player has been linked with a move to Barcelona recently, but it seems that the Rojiblancos do not intend to let go of the player this summer.
