Arsenal and Chelsea Enter the Race to Sign Olmo

Arsenal and Chelsea have become among the clubs interested in signing Barcelona's midfielder, Spanish international Dani Olmo, during the upcoming transfer window, according to "Fichajes".

The website clarified that the value of Dani Olmo's departure from Barcelona could reach around 70 million euros, amid increasing interest from several European clubs in his services.

The source indicated that the player is currently focused on participating with the Spanish national team in the World Cup, but at the same time, he is open to the idea of leaving FC Barcelona.

He added that Olmo views Arsenal's project positively at the moment, given the development the team is experiencing under the leadership of coach Mikel Arteta, following their Premier League title win and reaching the Champions League final this season.

The same source also clarified that Barcelona prefers to keep the player, who contributed 9 goals and 9 assists during the 2025/2026 season. However, the club may agree to sell him if a financially suitable offer is received.

The proposed financial value, amounting to 70 million euros, is a potential option for Barcelona if a decision is made to part ways with the player during the transfer market.

Arsenal's interest comes as part of their search to strengthen their attacking line, while Chelsea's interest is relatively surprising considering the club's recent policy that has focused on signing young players.
