Casado Opens the Door to Leaving Barcelona

Mark Casado, a midfielder for Barcelona, has become open to the idea of leaving the Catalan team during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid new developments regarding his future with the club, according to the Spanish newspaper "AS".

According to the newspaper, the Spanish player is seriously considering leaving Barcelona this summer, following a period of uncertainty about his position within the team.

This comes amid a decline in his role in Hans Flick's lineup, who does not rely on him as a main player, with strong competition in the team's midfield, which has reduced his chances of participating regularly.

Casado, a graduate of La Masia Academy, has also begun to accept the idea that moving to another club might give him a better opportunity to regain his form and shine again in the upcoming season.

On the other hand, his departure could contribute to providing financial liquidity for FC Barcelona to support its deals during the summer transfer window, which makes the club's management open to considering the idea.

Reports indicate that there is interest from Atletico Madrid and Monaco, as well as some Saudi clubs, to sign the 22-year-old player.

Casado's contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2028, and his market value is estimated at around 18 million euros. Last season, he participated in 34 matches with the team, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
