Surprise about Kounde's presence on the bench against Alaves
A Spanish press report revealed a surprise regarding the absence of Jules Kounde in the starting lineup yesterday against Deportivo Alaves (3-0).
According to the newspaper "Sport" Catalan, Kounde's presence on the bench was not for rest or rotation.
The newspaper explained that Kounde's non-participation as a starter against Alaves came as a result of a disciplinary decision from coach Hansi Flick.
The newspaper concluded that Kounde was late for the special meeting before the match, and therefore Flick decided to punish him.
