Cairo Stadium hosts Al-Ahly's first match at Intercontinental
Al-Ahly Club is preparing to participate in the first edition of the Intercontinental Cup, the alternative tournament to the Club World Cup with its old system.
The Intercontinental Cup will be held annually with the participation of the continental champions, and the Club World Cup will be held every 4 years.
Press sources revealed that Cairo Stadium will host Al-Ahly’s first match in the continental championship on October 29th.
The Red Giants will face the winning team from the match between Al Ain, UAE, and Auckland City, New Zealand.
