The Truth About Al Ahly's Participation in an Upcoming Friendly Tournament
Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, revealed the truth about Al Ahly of Egypt's participation in an upcoming friendly tournament.
Farag Amer, the former president of Smouha Club, stated on Facebook: "Turki Al-Sheikh is in contact with Al-Ahly's board of directors and Captain Mahmoud El-Khatib to confirm Al-Ahly's invitation to the friendly tournament in Riyadh Season."
He claimed that this tournament will include "Al Ahly (Egypt), Al Nassr, Al Hilal, and Inter Miami, with prizes reaching up to 10 million dollars."
Turki Al-Sheikh responded to what Amer said with just one sentence. He reposted the statement and commented on it: "This statement has no basis in truth!"
