The media personality Moheb Abdel Hadi revealed the behind-the-scenes of renewing the contract of Al Ahly star Hussein El Shahat with the club.
Moheb Abdel Hadi said during the program 'El Leeb' on MBC Masr channel that there has been no new development in the file of renewing Hussein El Shahat's contract, as the club adhered to its repeated offer of 20 million pounds plus 8 million as incentives without any financial increase.
He added that Al Ahly's management is committed to the 'salary cap' without exception, as the same financial structure offered to El Shahat was applied to other players like Mostafa Shobier and Koka.
He pointed out that this matter might raise questions for the player about not receiving a different financial treatment, despite his desire to improve his contract further.
