Guardiola agrees to Gundogan's return
Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is one step away from returning to Manchester City this summer.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano said: “The contacts between the camp Ilkay Gundogan and Manchester City on Tuesday were positive, and all parties were optimistic.
He added: “Gundogan will join Manchester City for free without any compensation.”
He concluded: “Gundogan got the green light, as Pep Guardiola agreed to his return.”
