Manchester United plans to sign a new right-back

Manchester United have begun working on plans to strengthen the right-back position in the upcoming period, amid increasing concerns about the level being shown by Diogo Dalot and a lack of conviction in his recent performances.

According to "Football Insider", signing a new right-back has become one of the topics under discussion at Manchester United, amid questions about Dalot's future and his role with the team in the upcoming period.

The moves by the English club's management come at a time when the team is experiencing one of its toughest phases in terms of results, both in domestic and European competitions, prompting officials to consider new options to bolster the squad and address weaknesses.

Diogo Dalot has a contract with Manchester United that runs until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for one more year. He has played 13 matches this season without scoring or assisting.
