Concern in Roma ahead of Manchester United clash due to Gollini injury

AS Roma visit Manchester United tonight at Old Trafford in the fourth round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, amid concerns within the Italian squad due to a potential crisis in the goalkeeper position.

Pierluigi Gollini suffered a back injury during the last training session before the match, putting his participation against Manchester United in doubt, although the coaching staff will try to recover and prepare him until the last moments.

If Gollini is unable to participate in the match, former AC Milan goalkeeper Vazquez and young goalkeeper Di Marzi, born in 2007, emerge as alternative options for AS Roma.

In terms of the lineup, the coach is set to rely on Palerdi in defense, with the possibility of Mora participating in the playmaker position. Manchester United are expected to enter the match in a 4-2-3-1 formation, featuring Laminez in goal, with Euro, Maguire, Lisandro Martínez, and Dalot in front of him. In midfield, Maino and André Santos will play, followed by Mbeumo, Tielemans, and Bruno Fernandes, behind striker Matheus Cunha.
