Bruno Fernandes responds strongly to the controversy and vows: We will win every match!
Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United's captain, made strong statements after the thrilling 3-2 victory over AS Roma, confirming that the win was necessary for the club, the players, and the coaching staff, given the difficult period the team has been going through.
Bruno Fernandes said in an interview with Amazon Prime: "We do not need to save anyone's job. The club needed this win, and the players needed it. It was something we needed as a group of players and coaching staff."
He added: "We are working very hard to get out of this situation together. It has been a difficult period, and the media has seen a lot of speculation and lies about many things that have happened within the club, including what was said about disagreements between me and the manager and that we sat down to clear the air. Nothing of the sort has happened."
The Manchester United captain addressed the coach's decision to keep him on the bench in one of the matches, explaining: "The coach made a decision to keep me on the bench because my level wasn't good enough, and that's fair."
He continued: "Everyone thought that was a punishment because of the statements I made after the match against Como, and if that was the case, then it was the right decision. The coach is the one who makes the decisions, and I have to accept it and move on."
Bruno Fernandes has emphasized that recent events have not affected his confidence in the coach, the coaching staff, and his teammates, stating: "This does not change my faith in the coach, the coaching staff, and every player in this club."
Manchester United captain concluded his statements with an enthusiastic message, emphasizing: "That does not change my goal of winning every match ahead of me," using a strong expression to affirm his determination to continue winning with the team.
