Juventus face AZ Alkmaar in UEFA Europa League with 14 players missing
Juventus face a major injury crisis ahead of their upcoming trip to the Netherlands to face AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League, as the team has suffered new setbacks following their recent match against SSC Napoli.
According to "Il Bianconero", three new players have joined the list of potential absentees, namely Weston McKennie due to a strain in his adductor, Karim Alagbigovich due to fatigue, and Juan Cabal, who is doubtful due to a muscle injury.
A total of 14 players are unavailable, including seven long-term injuries and four players not included in the UEFA Europa League squad, leaving coach Luciano Spalletti with very limited options.
The coaching staff is awaiting the results of medical examinations to determine the readiness of the trio and to finalize their status for the upcoming match against AZ Alkmaar scheduled for next Thursday, amid concerns about the ongoing absence crisis during the European competition.
