Juventus before AZ Alkmaar clash: McKennie out and Cabal returns

Juventus have received mixed news regarding the fitness of several players following their match against SSC Napoli, ahead of their trip to the Netherlands to face AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League.

Giovani Guardala, a reporter for Sky Sport Italia, mentioned that American Weston McKennie is suffering from muscular fatigue, with no tears or muscle injuries, which requires him to rest for about two days. As a result, the midfielder will miss the match against AZ Alkmaar, but he is expected to be ready to return for domestic competitions.

In contrast, tests on Al-Jabiyovitch, who scored the opener against SSC Napoli, showed reassuring results as he only suffered a bruise on his knee, from which he has already recovered. Juan Cabal will also be available to participate against the Dutch team after suffering from muscle cramps during the last match due to his long absence from starting.

Luciano Spalletti is set to welcome back Francisco Conceição and Nícolas González after the international break, while forecasts suggest that Kenan Yıldız will return in December, Kevin Thuram in January, and Manuel Locatelli in March. Meanwhile, the season for goalkeeper Gerbora has ended, according to the report.
