Di Lorenzo: We are going through a tough period and we need to raise our level

Giovanni Di Lorenzo, the captain of SSC Napoli, has admitted the difficulty of the period his team is experiencing after the defeat against Juventus, confirming that the team needs more consistency and work to return to the path of positive results.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo revealed in statements to "DAZN" that he was not in his best physical condition before the match, explaining: "I played a lot of matches and I didn't feel particularly good, and I had to come off, but I really wanted to continue."

Giovanni Di Lorenzo added that his team started the match positively, but they were unable to maintain the same level after the break. He said: "In the second half, we could not continue at the same level, and we know we are going through a difficult period, especially regarding the results."

Giovanni Di Lorenzo concluded his remarks by stressing the responsibility of all players to improve the situation, stating: "We all need to raise our level, including myself as one of the more experienced players in the team. The results have not been good enough, but we will do everything possible to improve and turn this situation around."
