Liverpool intensifies efforts to sign Valencia talent

Liverpool have intensified their efforts to sign David Otorbi, the young winger from Valencia, in recent days, following his impressive performances with the Spanish team and his release clause of €30 million, according to "CaughtOffside" citing "Tribuna Deportiva".

Otorbi, who is 19 years old, has become more involved with Valencia's first team this season, attracting the interest of Liverpool, who are looking to sign him to strengthen their future options.

In contrast, Valencia are keen to extend the player's contract and increase the release clause to around €60 million. The report indicated that there is an agreement to hold further discussions regarding the new contract, but the final position has not yet been determined.

The recent injury to Otorbi raises questions about Liverpool's potential move to sign him, as he left the match between Valencia and Villarreal on a stretcher, with further details about his condition awaited.

Despite the unclear nature of the injury, the report suggests that the player still has a chance to continue his promising career if he recovers. Meanwhile, Valencia will continue their attempts to keep him, and Otorbi could represent a future addition to Liverpool, who signed Spanish talent Víctor Muñoz last summer.
