Lewis Hall, the Newcastle United full-back, still wishes to transfer to Manchester United, despite extending his contract with his club until 2031, according to the British newspaper "i Paper", in a development that could reopen discussions about his move to Old Trafford in 2027.

Manchester United had attempted to sign the player during the summer of 2026, but Newcastle held firm on keeping him. TEAMtalk has confirmed that the English club remains interested in acquiring Hall, as his owners at INEOS are keen to strengthen the left-back position.

TEAMtalk has reported that transfer specialist Dean Jones has stated Newcastle are asking for no less than €100 million to agree to the player's departure, who is highly regarded at Manchester United.

According to the "i Paper", Lewis Hall wanted to move to Old Trafford a few months ago and has not changed his stance since then. The deal has followed Manchester United's approach in signing Carlos Baleba, waiting until the financial demands become more suitable.

In contrast, Graeme Bailey, the transfer news chief at TEAMtalk, explained that Lewis Hall's contract renewal makes a departure unlikely in the near future, confirming that Manchester United will continue to monitor his situation instead of making an immediate move.
