Fabian Hutzel is not ready to leave Brighton to take over as manager of Manchester United, despite United's interest in him as a potential successor to Michael Carrick, according to TEAMtalk.

Hotzler, 33, is having an impressive season with Brighton, who have the strongest attack in the Premier League, along with one of the strongest defenses, enhancing the German coach's status among the top young managers in football.

In contrast, Michael Carrick is facing pressure due to Manchester United's declining results, having exited the EFL Cup in their first appearance and only securing one win in the Premier League so far, leaving them just two points clear of the relegation zone.

The same source confirmed that Manchester United are not intending to rush into sacking Carrick, but they may move if results do not improve. The list of candidates to take over includes Antonio Conte, Eddie Howe, along with Hutzler.

The source reported that O'Rourke, a correspondent for "Avs Futebol", stated that Hotzler is happy at Brighton and committed to the club's project, and he does not plan to leave in the near future. He also noted that Brighton has not received any calls from other clubs regarding their manager, despite the increasing interest in him.

Hotzler is under contract with Brighton until the summer of 2029, and the club is not overly concerned about his future at the moment. Therefore, a move to Manchester United will not be guaranteed even if the latter decides to part ways with Carrick.
