Ferdinand regrets missing out on signing Ayyoub Bouaddi for Manchester United

Rio Ferdinand, former Manchester United defender, praised the technical abilities shown by young Moroccan Ayyoub Bouaddi, expressing his regret that his former team was unable to secure a deal for him, despite the interest the club showed in signing him.

Rio Ferdinand, during a discussion on his YouTube channel, recounted Manchester United's interest in signing Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi since last season and during the summer transfer window, explaining that the financial demands associated with the deal prevented its completion.

Ayyoub Bouaddi's performance against Paris Saint-Germain has reignited discussions about his talent, as the player caught attention with his ability to handle pressure calmly and maintain focus on the pitch. These are traits that Ferdinand believes make him capable of contributing at the highest levels of competition.

The former English defender did not hide his disappointment at missing the opportunity to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi, considering that the maturity and confidence the player showed confirms the value of the talent that Manchester United could have benefited from.

Meanwhile, Ayyoub Bouaddi continues to make strides in his English experience, having played his first match as a starter in the Premier League against Ipswich Town, in a game that ended with Manchester City winning 3-2, taking another step forward in his football career.
