German referee to officiate Paris Saint-Germain vs Manchester City in the Champions League
UEFA has appointed German referee Sven Jablonski to officiate the match between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, as part of the second round of the group stage in the UEFA Youth League.
Jablonski will officiate the match, assisted by his compatriots Edward Bittinger as first assistant referee and Christian Dietz as second assistant referee.
The match will mark the first officiating appearance for Jabłoński in a match involving Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Youth League, but he previously officiated a match for the French team against Juventus in the UEFA Youth League in September 2022, which ended in a 5-3 victory for Paris.
On the other hand, the German referee previously officiated a Manchester City match in the UEFA Youth League last season, when the English team lost to Bodø/Glimt by a score of 3-1 in the group stage.
Jablonski officiated the first leg of the UEFA Champions League playoff between Fenerbahçe and Lyon, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
