Haaland: We must maintain mental focus, this moment will stay with us for a long time

Erling Haaland, Manchester City's striker, expressed his pride in his team's performance following their three-goal win against Liverpool, stating that the victory at Anfield represents a special moment that will remain etched in the memories of players and fans for a long time.

Haaland said in his statements after the match: "For everyone associated with Manchester City, and every fan of the team, this is a wonderful moment that will stay with us for a long time."

The Norwegian forward added: "The match was tough and exhausting, but we showed amazing character from the back line to the front line, I am extremely proud of everyone."

Erling Haaland spoke about the difficulty of playing at Liverpool's ground, saying: "It is always difficult to come to this stadium, and if you look at the record of results, you will find that it is tough. During the era of Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp, the encounters were difficult for both teams, and it has always been that way."

Manchester City forward stressed the importance of mental cohesion and focus, explaining: "It is important that we maintain our mental strength, stick together, and do what we can control, and the thing we can control is to play good football and fight together, that is the only thing we can do."
