Liverpool compete with Real Madrid to sign Michael Olise

Liverpool have entered a race with Real Madrid to sign French winger Michael Olise from Bayern Munich, amid complicated negotiations over his contract extension with the German club.

Oles has joined Bayern from Crystal Palace for £60 million in the summer of 2024, and he has made a strong start to the season, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists in 7 matches.

According to the German newspaper "Bild", negotiations for the renewal, despite the player's contract lasting until June 2029, could be difficult due to Oles' desire to include a release clause that would allow him to leave in the future, which Bayern rejects.

TEAMtalk has reported that Oles is attracting interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid, with the English club viewing him as an option to replace Mohamed on the right wing, while Real Madrid is considering signing him to bolster their attack.

The same source indicated that Oles is leaning towards a move to LaLiga instead of returning to England, with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona continuing to monitor his situation.
