Erling Haaland, Manchester City's forward, has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich amid developments regarding the English club's financial situation, but the German club is not planning to pursue him at this time.

TEAMtalk reported, citing journalist Christian Falk, that Bayern Munich are focusing on renewing Harry Kane's contract, with negotiations going well as they await the English striker's decision after the international break.

Falk has clarified that extending Kane's contract for two years, with the possibility of adding a third season, will leave Bayern satisfied in the striker position, especially considering the difficulty of affording Haaland's reported salary of around €35 million per year, in addition to his transfer fee.

Meanwhile, Falk revealed that Bayern Munich held a secret meeting with their former coach Pep Guardiola last week, attended by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness, without disclosing full details.

Bayern Munich is monitoring the developments of Manchester City's case and potential sanctions, awaiting the club's appeal result before taking any action. Meanwhile, Erling Haaland's future remains linked to the case's developments and Harry Kane's stance on renewing his contract.
