Min-jae Kim's future attracts clubs' interest as Bayern open to his departure
South Korean Min-jae Kim's future at Bayern Munich is back in the spotlight, with Tottenham and Aston Villa interested in signing him. The German club is open to selling if the right offer comes in.
According to "TEAMtalk", the 29-year-old defender, whose contract runs until June 2028, has dropped to third in the defender rankings under Vincent Kompany, behind Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah.
Tottenham, Aston Villa and AC Milan have been in contact regarding Min-jae Kim this summer, without making formal offers, while Juventus are also monitoring the situation. However, there are currently no advanced negotiations, and the player is happy to stay at Bayern despite limited appearances.
The same source clarified that Bayern could allow his departure in January or next summer if they sign a new defender, but a summer transfer seems the more realistic scenario. Information suggests that £30 million could be enough to finalize the deal.
Min-jae Kim has participated in 3 out of 4 Bundesliga matches this season, but he has missed the starting lineup in two matches, with Kompany relying on Jonathan Tah instead.
