Libyan Union announces signing of Sofiane Boufal

Libya's Al-Ittihad has officially signed Moroccan Sofiane Boufal during the current transfer window to strengthen the squad in preparation for upcoming challenges.

According to the announcement, Boufal has signed a contract with the Libyan Federation for two seasons, in a free transfer after leaving Le Havre.

Sofiane Boufal is one of the prominent Moroccan names who has had professional experiences in several European and Arab leagues. He previously represented Morocco in the FIFA World Cup 2022, when the Atlas Lions reached the semi-finals.

Libya's Football Federation hopes that the addition of Boufal will provide a strong boost to the team, given the player's extensive experience and attacking abilities. This move reflects the club's ambitions to strengthen its squad with experienced players ahead of the new season.

The Libyan Football Federation posted on its official account: "He has arrived, and the rest will be written by his magic," accompanied by the Moroccan flag, in a message that fans of the club interpreted as a clear reference to Boufal.
