Return date for Palhinha from injury revealed
Ivory Coast midfielder Carlos Baleba is nearing a return to action after suffering an ankle ligament injury. There are expectations for his comeback between mid and late September.
According to Sky Sports, the potential return date for Palhinha could be September 20, when Manchester United face Fulham in the fifth round of the Premier League, with the possibility of the player returning shortly before this date if he is fit.
Manchester United have signed Baliba during the summer transfer window from Brighton, in a deal worth £65 million, along with £5 million in add-ons related to the terms of the deal.
Brighton have retained a clause allowing them to receive a percentage of the player's future sale value, as part of the agreement that transferred the Ivorian midfielder to Old Trafford.
Manchester United hope to have Palhinha back as soon as possible, especially as the player represents an important addition to the team's midfield after joining the club in a big-money deal during the summer transfer window.
