Nottingham Forest have officially signed Colombian international Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace on a three-year deal, with an option to extend for an additional season.

The deal is worth £22 million, plus add-ons, making the 30-year-old right-back the latest addition to manager Oliver Glasner's squad.

Daniel Muñoz has significant experience in the Premier League and European competitions, having had a notable stint with Crystal Palace since joining the club in January 2024, where he has become one of the key players in the team.

Daniel Muñoz contributed to Crystal Palace's FA Cup victory in the 2024-2025 season, having assisted the winning goal against Manchester City in the final, and was awarded the Man of the Match. He later also lifted the FA Community Shield.

During last season, Daniel Muñoz participated in 46 matches across various competitions, including 29 matches in the Premier League, where he scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists. He also played a key role in Crystal Palace's victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

On the international stage, Daniel Muñoz has played 51 matches for Colombia since his international debut in 2021, participating in two editions of the Copa América, and was included in his country's squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Daniel Muñoz is set to join Nottingham Forest training ahead of their clash with Tottenham Hotspur next Saturday at the City Ground in the Premier League.
