Tolisso matches Benzema's historic record with Lyon in European competitions

Corentin Tolisso continues to etch his name in the records of Olympique Lyon, matching compatriot Karim Benzema's tally with 12 goals in European competitions after scoring against Crystal Palace tonight in the UEFA Europa League.

This achievement confirms Tolisso's scoring presence with Lyon on the continental stage, as he has reached the same number that Benzema achieved during his time with the team.

Benzema is considered one of the standout players to have worn the Olympique Lyon shirt, having excelled with the team before moving to Real Madrid, where he continued his exceptional career and achieved numerous individual and collective accolades.

Tolisso is set for a chance to break this record as he continues with Olympique Lyon and aims to enhance his goal tally in upcoming European competitions.
