Nottingham Forest continue to support their Austrian manager Oliver Glasner, despite the team's rocky start in the Premier League, sitting in 19th place with 5 points from their first 7 matches, a situation that could have raised significant concerns about the manager's future in past seasons.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported, in a piece by journalist Tom Colomos, that Nottingham Forest's management is dealing with the current situation calmly, unlike what happened last season when the club sacked Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou. This is partly due to the significant bet on Glasner, whom the club signed at a high cost to bring his experience and ability to win titles to the team, with the understanding that the Austrian coach typically needs some time to reach his best levels.

The report indicated that George Sirianos, the person in charge of the football file at the club, enjoys the support of the management in his approach, based on statistical indicators that suggest the team's performance does not necessarily reflect its current results.

According to the report, Nottingham Forest were supposed to occupy sixth place in the expected points table, while the team scored only 5 goals, compared to 11 expected goals, reflecting the gap between the chances created by the team and the goal tally they achieved.

In contrast, Glasner is facing questions due to his handling of several influential players, as the roles of some elements within the team have diminished, including Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ola Aina, and Ibrahim Sangaré. The report also touched on striker Liam Delap, who joined for £50 million but has scored just one goal in six matches, despite the coach's confidence in his ability to develop. However, the current results do not seem sufficient for the Forest management to abandon their project with Glasner.
