Newcastle Firm on Louis Hall's Future Amid Manchester United Interest

Newcastle United has refused to sell left-back Lewis Hall during the current summer transfer window, after informing Manchester United that the player is not for sale, following an initial inquiry from the club, according to Sky Sports.

Manchester United has set its sights on the 21-year-old English international to bolster their left-back position. However, Newcastle has rejected the inquiry that arrived two weeks ago, insisting on retaining the player.

Sky Sports has added that Haaland's contract with Newcastle extends for three more seasons, as the club also seeks to sign a new full-back during the transfer window.

The same source had clarified since March that Haaland is among the names being considered by Manchester United in search of a long-term replacement for Luke Shaw, who has only one year left on his contract.

Meanwhile, the club continues to evaluate its options in the summer transfer market, with the possibility of signing a new midfielder still on the table before the window closes.
