According to the 'Foot Mercato' website, Hakimi has raised his tally to 77 matches in the UEFA Champions League, ranking fourth among the most participating African players in the history of the competition, surpassing Michael Essien, who played 76 matches.

Hakimi comes behind the trio of Mohamed Salah with 98 matches, Didier Drogba with 92 matches, and Samuel Eto'o with 78 matches, continuing his presence among the elite African players in Europe's most prestigious club tournament.
