Results of the 2027 Asian Cup Draw and Tournament Dates in Saudi Arabia
The draw for the 2027 Asian Cup, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has been conducted, resulting in the participating teams being distributed into 6 groups, in a version expected to witness strong competitions from the group stage.
The groups are as follows:
Group A:
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Palestine, Oman
Group B:
Uzbekistan, Bahrain, North Korea, Jordan
Group C:
Iran, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, China
Group D:
Australia, Tajikistan, Iraq, Singapore
Group E:
South Korea, UAE, Vietnam, Lebanon or Yemen
Group F:
Japan, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia
Regarding the stadiums hosting the tournament, matches will be held in eight stadiums:
Kingdom Arena, King Fahd Sports City Stadium, King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Aramco Stadium, King Saud University Stadium, Al Shabab Stadium, Imam Muhammad bin Saud University Stadium, and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal City Stadium.
The tournament will be hosted in three Saudi cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar.
A total of 51 matches are scheduled to be played during the tournament with the participation of 24 teams over 30 days.
The tournament is set to begin on January 7, 2027, and will continue until February 5, 2027, with the opening match taking place on January 7, and the tournament concluding with the final match on February 5.
