Officially.. ticket status for AFC Asian Cup 2027 revealed after tournament date change

The organizing committee for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 has revealed the fate of tickets purchased by fans in advance, following the announcement by the Asian Football Confederation to change the competition dates and reschedule them.

The official account of the tournament confirmed via the platform 'X' that all purchased tickets remain valid for use on the new date without the need to obtain new tickets.

Organizers have confirmed that fans holding their current tickets can use them to attend matches according to the revised schedule, without making any changes to previous bookings.

In contrast, the committee has allowed those wishing to recover their funds to submit an electronic request via the link sent to the registered email at the time of purchase, or through the ticket refund site refund.ahlan.sa.

The organizing committee has set January 5, 2027, as the final deadline for ticket refund requests, urging fans wishing to reclaim their money to complete the procedures before the deadline.

The AFC Asian Cup 2027 will now take place in Saudi Arabia from December 23, 2027, to January 21, 2028.

The new date differs from the previous schedule, which set the tournament to take place from January 7 to February 5, 2027, before the decision to reschedule the competitions.

The AFC announced in an official statement released on Tuesday that the decision came after consultations with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and the local organizing committee, as well as discussions regarding the latest developments and organizational and logistical considerations related to hosting the tournament.
