Saudi green camp and matches against Qatar and Jordan postponed
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has postponed the national team's training camp, which was set to be held in Khobar from December 21, 2026, to January 3, 2027, based on the decision to reschedule the AFC Asian Cup 2027.
Saudi Arabia's national team is preparing during the camp to play two friendly matches against Qatar and Jordan on December 27, 2026, and January 2, 2027, as part of the final phase of their preparation program for the AFC Asian Cup.
The decision to postpone the camp and the two friendly matches was made after coordination with the Qatari and Jordanian federations, with new dates to be determined later in line with the adjustments made to the AFC Asian Cup schedule.
The Saudi Football Federation is expected to announce the details of the new preparation program for the national team ahead of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, following the rescheduling of the tournament dates.
