Shobier's Comment on Al-Ahly Trio's Complaint Against Referee Mahmoud Wafa
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir commented on the complaint filed by Al Ahly's trio, Hussein El Shahat, Mahmoud Trezeguet, and Mohamed El Shenawy, against Mahmoud Wafa, the referee of the match between Al Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra in the league.
In a radio statement, Shobeir said: "The Football Association referred the complaint of Hussein El-Shahat, Mahmoud Trezeguet, and Mohamed El-Shenawy to the referees' committee for a decision, which means that referee Mahmoud Wafa is exonerated."
He added, "The referees' committee has exonerated the referee both technically and behaviorally, and therefore the decision will not change. This is the reality that occurred during the past period."
Al Ahly will face Pyramids next Monday in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider stage.
